Mary Bundy Carter, 70, of Suffolk, VA passed away May 7, 2010. She was born in Gates Co., NC the daughter of the late George F. and Allie M. V. Bundy. She was a member of Eureka Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Susan Reeves and four brothers.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Evelyn Oliver and Tammy Lamb both of Suffolk; sons, Michael Carter of Norfolk, VA, and Wayne Carter of Suffolk; grandchildren, Michelle Wolke, John Oliver, Jr., Megan Oliver, Mark Spivey, Jr., Destiny and Angel Davidson; sister, Barbara Rountree of Corapeake, NC; former husband, Winfred Carter of Suffolk.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Eureka Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Troy Sing officiating. Mary will be available for viewing on Monday at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory. Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
