Martha Ashley Reynolds, 89, of Suffolk, VA passed away May 24, 2015. She was born in Suffolk, VA to the late Rhoney and Irene Matthews Ashley. She is also predeceased by her husband, Richard Benjamin Reynolds and son, Richard Wayne Reynolds. Martha retired after many years as a bookkeeper at F.W. Woolworth Co. She was a member of Bethlehem Christian Church where she taught the Lady Star Sunday school class. She was also a very talented quilter.

Martha is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Gerald Ashley and Cherry Reynolds, Joe Lawrence and Linda Reynolds, and Nancy Reynolds; nine grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday May 27, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA, with Rev. Matt Winters officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Christian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
