Martha Braswell Holland, 70, of Windsor, VA passed away May 3, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Bunie T. and Doctor Staley Braswell. She was predeceased by her sister, Barbara J. Joyner. Martha was a member of Windsor Baptist Church where she was active for many years with Vacation Bible School. She also worked for numerous years in Windsor at the Tinee Giant and Hardy's Florist.

Martha is survived by her husband of 56 years, Robert O. Holland; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert A. Holland, Sr. and Connie Holland of Windsor, Jimmy D. and Kelly Holland of Suffolk, Martin D. "Dale" and Pam Holland of Gladen, NC; grandchildren and spouses, Tonya Y. Turner (Mike), Robert A. "R.A." Holland Jr., Deanna H. Felts (Robbie), Westley D. Holland, H. Danielle Holland, D. Ryan Holland; great grandchildren, Madison M. Turner, Bryce M. Turner, Kennedy B. Felts, Barak J. Coster, Makynlie P. Coster; sister, Betty B. Spivey of Windsor, VA; brother, Thomas Wayne Braswell of NC.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, May 6, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. John Corson and Rev. Bryan Brooks officiating. Burial will follow at Windsor Cemetery. Friends may join the family Saturday night from 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home and other times at the residence. Memorial donations may be made to Windsor Baptist Church Building Fund at P.O. My wife was the most loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be missed by all. She loved being involved in her church Windsor Baptist. So in closing my wife was my soul mate. I will meet my loving wife again in heaven.
