Marjorine Joyce Chappell, 81, passed away April 3, 2013. She was born in Virginia the daughter of the late Irvin C. Ward and Laura W. Ward. She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Charles Russell Chappell, Sr. and son, David Ray Chappell. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Henry Lee Chaney, Jr.; son and daughter-in-law, Charles Russell Chappell, Jr. and Debbie Chappell all of Suffolk; grandchildren and their spouses, Henry Lee Chaney, III (Kelly), Mark Allen Chaney (Jessica), Charles Thaddeus Chappell (Heidi); great grandchildren, Cameron, Emily, Myla, Darla, Tessa; and sister, Florine Chappell of NC.

A graveside service will be held Friday, April 5, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Holly Lawn Cemetery with Pastor Chafik Laaissaoui officiating. Friends can join the family other times at the residence of Henry Lee Chaney, III.
