Marjorie Williams Davidson died on Sunday, December 30, 2012, on her 88th birthday at Nansemond Pointe, Suffolk, VA. She was born in Nansemond County and was the daughter of the late Cecil G. Williams, Sr. and Sadie Glauss Williams. She was a member of Holy Neck Congregational Christian Church and a retired Licensed Practical Nurse at Louise Obici Memorial Hospital.

She was predeceased by her husband, June O. Davidson, Jr., brothers Cecil G. Williams, Jr. and Frank (Tink) Williams and brother-in-law Jodie L. March. Marjorie is survived by her sons, Steve T. Davidson (Janet) of Suffolk and Mark G. Davidson of Norfolk; grandchildren, Kevin T. Davidson (Joy) of Wilmington, NC, and Stacey D. Christenbury (Kenneth) of Falls Church, VA; great grandchildren, Clover Davidson, Kevin Thomas "Knox" Davidson, Jr. and Aven Cole Christenbury; sister, Mary W. March and sisters-in-law Ann G. Williams (Cecil) and Carol J. Williams (Tink).

The family would like to thank Dr. William Jackson and the Staff of Nansemond Pointe for the care and attention they gave her during the last weeks.

A celebration of her life will be held Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home with Rev. Drew Mountcastle and Dr. Reggie Warren officiating. Burial will be held after the service at Holland Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and at other times at the home of Steve and Janet Davidson.
