Marie Carpenter Davis, 44, of Windsor, VA passed away June 20, 2010. She was born in Suffolk, VA the daughter of the late Mamie Elizabeth and Robert Earl Carpenter, Sr. She was a former store manager for Southern Food and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.

Marie is survived by her husband, Gary Paul Davis, Sr.; sons, Brian Lee Davis, Sr., Gary Paul David, Jr., and Daniel Philip Davis all of Windsor; grandsons, Brian Lee Davis, Jr. and Nicholas Davis; sister, Shirley Jean Scott of GA; brother, Robert Earl Carpenter, Jr.; uncle, Junior Carpenter both of Windsor.

A graveside service will be Friday, June 25, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Newman Cemetery behind Oakland Christian Church with Rev. Eric Fly officiating.
