Marian Furman peacefully entered into rest on April 25, 2017 at home in Windsor, Virginia at the age of 85.  He was born in Rudno Poland, the loving son of the late Anna and Roman Furman. Marian immigrated to the United States as an adult where he met and married his beloved late wife Elzbieta (nee Nowak) also a Polish immigrant.

He was employed as a Master Craftsman working with leather products, shoes, sports equipment, designer leather wear and accessories. He retired as an Orthotics Technician at Great Lakes Orthotics, a career he truly enjoyed, even while in his 70's.

Marian is survived by his beloved daughters, Margaret Furman-Juda and Aleksandra Kostakis and his cherished grandchildren, Alexander and MariElle.

Marian was a pillar of strength, love and devotion to his family. A warm and dedicated son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and loyal friend, he will be deeply missed.

Marian's life will be celebrated with a Polish Mass at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 2158 Clinton St., Cheektowaga, NY followed by a Christian interment at St. Matthews Cemetery, 180 French Rd., West Seneca, NY.
