Margie L. Engle, 66, of Suffolk, VA passed away February 17, 2009. She was born in Franklin, VA the daughter of the late Virginia Butler Turner and James Oliver Turner.

Margie is survived by her husband of 50 years, John Richard Engle; daughters, JoAnna M. Boyd, Teresa L. Brock; sons, James A. Engle and John R. Engle, Jr., all of Suffolk, VA; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and a sister, Vanessa Bradshaw of Carrsville, VA.

A funeral service will be held Friday, February 20, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, VA with Rev. Dick Dinges officiating. Burial will follow at Nansemond Suffolk Cemetery. Friends may join the family for a time of visitation on Thursday evening from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
