Margaret Faye Thomas Babb, 70, of Suffolk, VA passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on December 8, 2009 after her courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Suffolk, the daughter of the late Bessie Matilda Harrell Thomas and James Jackson Thomas. She was predeceased by her sisters and brother, Mary Megginson, Juanita Thomas, and Howard Dempsey Thomas. Margaret retired after numerous years as a private care companion aide. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Margaret is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Lisa Gayle and Wayne Gayle, Susan B. Brobjorg both of Suffolk, VA; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert W. and Sandra J. Babb of Suffolk, VA, Tony A. and Eileen Babb of Virginia Beach, VA; grandchildren, Christopher and Tabatha Boone, Meghan and Austin Babb, Hannah and Katie Brobjorg, Christopher and Angelica Collins; sister, Joyce Ann Sandman of CO; brothers, James Jackson Thomas, Jr. of Suffolk, VA, Robert E. Thomas of Windsor, VA.

A celebration of life service will be held Friday, December 11, 2009 at 3:30 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA with Dr. Bryan Ray and Rev. Michael D.
