Margaret (Janie) Persinger Mason 65 of Ivor, Virginia passed away at her home on September 22, 2020 following a long illness.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years Edward (Eddie) Allen Mason Jr. She is also survived by her daughter Crystal Lynn Mason of Courtland Virginia.  A son Edward (Shane) Allen Mason III. Grandchildren Nathan Eli Caleb Jett and Brylee Mason. Great grandchildren Joshua Taylor Benton Zora Jace Mason and Elizabeth Hoopaw. Two brothers Freddy (Shirley)Persinger and Randy (Delayne) Persinger .

Janie is predeceased by a Son Stephen Allen Mason and a granddaughter Kaleigha Paige Mason. Also a sister Nina Persinger.

Janie was born in Southampton England and was the daughter of the late Russell and Nancy Persinger.

Janie graduated from Warwick high school and Saint Leo's college with an associates degree in sociology.

She went on to work at Cannon and Busch Gardens until her retirement in March 2018. Janie loved spending time with her grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at Ivor cemetery at 2 PM on October 4, 2020. In lieu of flowers the family would request donations to the Ivor rescue squad in Janie's memory.
