Margaret Carolyn Jernigan Moses, 71, passed away January 22, 2019.  She was born in Nansemond County, VA the daughter of the late Albert B. and Margaret N. Jernigan.  She attended CrossPointe Church.

Margaret is survived by her daughters, Deborah Matthews Jenkins, Teresa Truitt (Bobby); son, James "Jimmy" Edward Matthews; grandchildren, Lisa A. Goodman (Dana), Karis B. Cornett (Patrick), Brianne E. Hill (Ryan), Maddie N. Truitt, Jeffrey Matthew Cole; great grandchildren, William Castelow, Aleeyah Goodman, Alaynah Goodman, and Patrick C. Kimbrough, Jr.; sisters, Loretta Warren (Ronnie), Cindy Stephenson (Tommy), Charlotte Holland; brother, Kenneth Jernigan (Anna); numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 11 a.m. at CrossPointe Church with Rev. David Sexton officiating.  Burial will be held following the service at 2 p.m. at Holly Lawn Cemetery.   Friends may join the family for a time of visitation Friday night from 7-8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory.  Memorial donations may be made to CrossPointe Church.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
