Margaret Ann Daniels Nies, 50, passed away on March 5, 2008. A native of Norfolk, VA, she was the adopted daughter of the late Bill John Daniels, Jr.
She is survived by her adopted mother Ruby Cuthrell Daniels; step-father, Michael Hillard; her natural mother, Betty Lassiter; daughters and sons-in-law, Rose Dell Umphlett Carter (Delmar Carter, Jr.), Patricia Ann Umphlett Copeland (George E., Sr.); grandchildren, Melissa Nicole Copeland, George E. Copeland, Jr. and Haley Grace Copeland; sisters, Barbara, Paula and Kay; brothers, Stewart and Frank, Jr.
A graveside service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Cypress Chapel Christian Church Cemetery, officiated by Rev.Don Milner. Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com
