Madeline went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 26 at the age of 88, in Smithfield, Virginia. She was a long time resident of Princeton, West Virginia, where she was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her childhood sweetheart and husband of 55 years, William H. Ealy, Jr. and brother, Leonard W. Hurt. She worked for 24 years at Southern Highlands, where she was well known for her quiet and gentle nature.

She is survived by her son, Roger Ealy and wife, Brenda and a brother, Clarence L. Hurt and wife, Sherry. She has two granddaughters, Beverly Burke and Brett Xinos and five great grandchildren. We are all thankful for her time of peace and will miss her dearly.

Friends may join the family for a time of visitation at Memorial Funeral Directory, HC71 Box 92 Athens Road, Princeton, West Virginia 24740 on Monday, November 1 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the same location on Tuesday, November 2 at 10:00 a.m.
