Mrs. Lucy Mae Snook Bradshaw formerly of Suffolk, VA passed away Saturday March 17, 2007 in Camelot Nursing Center, Granite Falls, NC. She was born August 27, 1929 in Nansemond County the daughter of the late William Amos Snook and Mattie Louise Carr Snook. Lucy was a former charter member of Suffolk West Baptist Church and a current member of Concord Baptist Church in Granite Falls, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband James Morgan Bradshaw, Sr. and her son James Morgan "Brad" Bradshaw, Jr.

She leaves behind a daughter, Joyce Bradshaw Cisco and husband, Elza of Granite Falls, NC; three grandchildren, Stephanie Carswell (Joel) of Granite Falls, NC, Adam Cisco of Granite Falls, NC, and Amber Marie Bradshaw of Missoula, MT; two great grandchildren, Richard Morgan Elkins, and Winter Rose Trujillo; brother, Charles Orie Snook and wife Louise P. Snook of Suffolk, VA; sister, Elizabeth Elmira Snook Wilhide of Wanchese, NC; and numerous nieces and nephews, family, and friends.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens Chapel with Rev. Ben Scofield officiating. Friends may join the family Monday night at the Parr Funeral Home from 7-8 p.m. and other times at the residence of Charles and Louise Snook at 2972 Archer's Mill Rd., Suffolk, VA 23434.
