Lucy Woodle Klass, 80, of Suffolk, VA passed away on May 27, 2011. A native of Denton, NC she was the daughter of the late Clayton and Nealy Smith Woodle. She was also predeceased by her husband, Billy Robert Klass. She drove the Bookmobile for the Suffolk Library and was a water color artist as well as an avid antique collector.

She is survived by her daughter, Billie Yolanda Baynes; sons, Steven Dale Klass and Robert Kelly Klass; grandchildren, Jessica Klass, Christie Bascetta, Allison Phillips and Karen Miller; great grandchildren, Brandon Bascetta, Noah Miller and Keegan Miller; brothers Don Woodle and Garl Woodle; and a very close friend, Jim McDonnell.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk with Rev. Connie Gibbs-Morris officiating. Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Friends may join the family for visitation prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
