Louise Grizzard Nelson, 86, of Suffolk, VA passed away June 16, 2018.  She was born in Southampton Co., VA to the late Hugh Swanson Grizzard and Pearl Mary Morris Grizzard. Louise is predeceased by her husband of 46 years, William Thomas Nelson. She retired as a pharmacy assistant from Nansemond Drug Store. Louise was a member of Bethlehem Christian Church, the Mary Sue Brittle Sunday School Class, and the Molly Savage Circle. She was a charter Deaconess, past chair of the music committee and former member of the finance committee. She also loved working with Meals on Wheels.

Louise is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy White of Leavenworth, KS (Ronnie) and Sylvia Cooper of Midlothian, VA (Glenn); son and daughter-in-law, Billy Nelson of Suffolk, VA (Kay); grandchildren, Brian White (Kellie), Justin Nelson (Robin), Brandon White (Sarah), Andrea Raab (Michael), Chase Nelson (Tonya), Ryan Bradfield, and Jordan Bradfield (Rachael), 9 Great Grandchildren; and a brother W. T. Grizzard .

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, June 21, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Bethlehem Christian Church with Rev. Matthew Winters officiating. The Family will greet friends in the Graham Hall for fellowship after the service with Interment at 4:30 p.m. in Holly Lawn Cemetery.
