Louise Piland "MA" Snook, 78, went to be with Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior on November 30, 2016. She was born in Nansemond Co, VA to the late Richard Roland Piland and Flossie Joe Smith. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 53 years, Charles Orie Snook, sisters in law, Carol Piland and Lucy S. Bradshaw and brother in law, Morgan Bradshaw. She worked in the Finance Department of Suffolk City Public Schools as a Payroll Manager. She was a member of Bethlehem Christian Church, where she served as Deaconess, Sunday School Teacher and numerous other committees. She was a spiritual prayer warrior and led bible study. Her hobbies included her Grandkids, Great Grandkids, gardening, reading, crocheting, fishing and lending a helping hand to others.

"MA" is survived by her daughter, Jenny Snook Price (Alex); son, Barry Keith Snook (Sharon); grandchildren, Melissa Snook Rose (Patrick), Matthew Alex Price and Brandon Keith Snook; great grandchildren, Kylie Marie Rose and Declan Archer Rose; brothers, William Quinton "Billy" Piland and Richard "Ronald" Piland; sister in law, Elizabeth Snook "Sissy" Wilhide; and numerous nieces and nephews, who are loved dearly.

Her service will be held Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 11 AM in Bethlehem Christian Church with Pastor Matthew Winters officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 7-8 PM in Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, VA, 23434. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bethlehem Christian Church Missions, Bethlehem Christian Church Food Pantry, Make-A-Wish Foundation or The Gideons International, Suffolk Gideon Camp.
