Obituary

Lorraine W. Grunewald "Muh", 83, went home peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on June 8, 2010. She was the daughter of the late John Clark White and Bernice Petty White and sister of the late, John C. White, Jr. Muh was a loving and devoted grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend. She and her late husband, Ross Allen Grunewald, were former owners of Grunewald's Drive In. In her earlier years she enjoyed playing golf. She will be remembered for her laughter, sense of humor, smile, and love of life.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Wayne Wilkins; granddaughter, Susan Parsain and husband Mike; her grandson, Steve Wilkins and wife, Amy; great grandchildren, Drew, Bryson, and Brileigh Parsain and Brett and Blake Rutledge.

A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, June 11, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Open Door Church with Rev. Tony Peaks officiating. Entombment will follow at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. on Thursday night at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA and other times at her residence. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Open Door Church at 816 Kings Fork Rd., Suffolk, VA or the Spina Bifida Association at 4590 MacArthur Blvd., NW Suite 250, Washington, DC 20007.
