Lloyd Kater Taylor, Jr., 67, of Chesapeake, VA passed away April 4, 2010. He was born in Suffolk, VA the son of the late Ruby Boyette Taylor and Lloyd Kater Taylor, Sr. He was also predeceased by his first wife, Linda Yukie Taylor. Lloyd was a veteran having served in the U. S. Marine Corp during Vietnam. He retired as a Superintendant for Fisher Development, Inc. He attended Light of Life Church in Chesapeake, VA.

Lloyd is survived by his wife, Gaetane Ricke Taylor of Chesapeake, VA; daughter and son-in-law, Sherri and Michael Newell of Virginia Beach, VA; grandson, John Lloyd Newell; step daughter and husband, Lyne and Paul Turner of Arizona; sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Brian Kelleher; niece and nephew, Andrea and Michael Kelleher all of Midlothian, VA; sister-in-law and brothers-in-law, Patricia and Raymond Domingo, Paulette and Ronald Jackson; Diane Correia all of CA.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Eureka Baptist Church Cemetery in Corapeake, NC. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society P.O.
