Lloyd Earl Crocker, Sr., 79, of Windsor, VA passed away July 9, 2015. He was born in Isle of Wight County, VA the son of the late L. Sidney and Gladys Robertson Crocker. He is also predeceased by his former wife, Laurine Oliver Crocker and step-daughter, Pat Holland. Earl retired after many years of service from Holly's, Inc. He served in the U.S. Air Force Medical Corps. Earl was a longtime member of First Baptist Church and Bob Herring's Sunday School Class. Earl was an avid woodworker, bird watcher and Yankees fan.
Earl is survived by his son, Lloyd Earl Crocker, Jr. and wife, Dawn; granddaughter, Hannah Nicole Crocker; step-sons, Charles Holland and Dale Holland; step-grandchildren, Kristi Holland and Katie Holland; sister, Betty Crocker Holly and husband, Dan; brother, Robert W. "Bobby" Crocker and wife, Shirley; nephews, Danny and Chris Holly.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church with Rev. Thurman Hayes, Jr. and Rev. Charles Thompson officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery. Friends may join the family for a visitation Tuesday night from 7-8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory.
