Linda Gail Wright, 44, of Newport News, VA passed away January 24, 2009. She was born in Elizabethtown, NC the daughter of Arthur B. Wright and the late JoAnne M. Golden Wright. She was a former specialist in the United States Army and volunteered for the American Red Cross, Hampton Roads Chapter.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Joyanne B. Manning of Newport News, VA; sons, Staff Sergeant Tyron A. Jones of the U.S.A.F. stationed in Honolulu, HI, and Jeremy B. Manning of Newport News, VA; father and step mother, Arthur B. and Jane Wright of Sheffield, MA; maternal grandmother, Minnie Golden; sisters, Stephanie M. Wright of Sheffield, MA, Lisa J. Wright of Newport News, VA, Teresa A. Wright of Newport News, VA, Major Patricia K. Wright of the U.S. Army stationed in Arifjan, Kuwait; half-brother, Kevin Hammon of Elizabethtown, NC; mother-in-law, Joyce Manning; godchild, Jada N. Reeves.
