Linda Sharon "Sherry" Wood Franz, 73, passed away November 11, 2023.  She was born in Loma Linda, California, the daughter of the late Billy Earl Wood and Frieda Holbrook Wood.  She was predeceased by her brother, Mark Wood.  Sherry was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and cherished friend to many. She was an active and treasured member of her Riverpoint neighborhood community, and a devoted donor to many animal rescue organizations. Sherry retired from Patient First as a medical administrator.

Sherry is survived by her husband of 3 years, John Daniel Franz; daughters, Dara Melissa Dunn, Stephanie Danielle Hechtkopf (Matthew), Rebecca Sharon Schenk, and Deborah Suzanne Perry (Newman); stepchildren, Dee Dee Becker (Andy), Julie Krupnick (Tom), Brooke Reynolds (Zak), and Alex Franz; 6 grandchildren; Billy Daniel Dunn, Emma Sharon Schenk, Zachary Newman Perry, Jett Owen Perry, Harlow Rose Hechtkopf, Brenna Laine Becker, and sister, Cindy Wood.

A funeral service to honor Sherry will be held Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Michael D. Halley officiating.  A private burial will be held at Albert G.
