Linda Catherine Montgomery-Bos, 71, passed away September 27, 2023.  She was born in Gainesville, TX to the daughter of the late John Warren Phillips and Orpha Lea Gentry.  In addition to being a loving mother and homemaker, Linda was the owner of a ranch, which she used to train horses, help veterans, and provide solace to those who needed it.  She was a member of Open Door Church where she led the prayer team and a small group.

Linda was predeceased by her first husband of 20 years, William F. Montgomery Jr.  She is survived by her second husband of 28 years, Charles John Bos; children and their spouses, John E. Bos (Michelle), Christy A. Bos (Garth), Rebekah C. Smith (Kevin), Sarah L. Montgomery, Eli S. T. Bos (Michelle), and William F. Montgomery III (Sarah); 12 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.  She was also predeceased by her brother, Michael Phillips.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday, October 2, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Open Door Church, 816 Kings Fork Road, Suffolk, VA 23434 with Pastors Tony and Kathy Peaks officiating.  A time of visitation will be held from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.  Memorial donations may be made to the church.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
