Linda Jean Mays, 57, of Suffolk, VA passed away January 31, 2011. She was born in Nansemond County the daughter of the late Oscar Ernest Mays and Helen Lou McClenny Mays. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church now known as West Suffolk Baptist Church.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Sharon K. G. Holmes of West Louisburg, NC; son, Michael C. Capps of Seattle, WA; 4 grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Ann Settlemyer and Doris Lee Meacham; brother, Howard Earl Mays.

A memorial service will be held at the home of Howard Mays on Friday, February 4, 2011 at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Suffolk Humane Society at P.O. Box 5038, Suffolk, VA 23435. Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
