Linda Marie Etherton, 60, passed away November 18, 2012. She was born in Carteret County, NC the daughter of Florence Marie Acey Williams and the late Charles Elden Lewis. She was also predeceased by her stepfather, Bill Williams. Linda worked as a peanut inspector for Virginia Inspection Service. She was a former member of Open Door Church and a current member of New Vision Ministries.

Linda is survived by her husband of 12 years, Roy Duane Etherton; mother, Florence Williams; daughter, Brandy Boswell of Isle of Wight; sons and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Krystal Boswell, George "J.R." Boswell all of Suffolk; step children, Heather Etherton of Nicholasville, KY and Jeremy Etherton of Henderson, TN; grandchildren, Brett, Lane, Justin, Garrett, Haylei, Wyatt, Lina, Joy, Georgieana, and Laney; sisters, Peggy Lewis Griggs and Charlene L. Colligan; brother, Mike Williams.

A funeral service will be held Friday, November 23, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Kathy Peaks officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Christian Church Cemetery. Friends may join the family Wednesday night for a time of visitation from 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home and other times at the residence of Florence Williams.
