Linda Speight Alexander, 71, passed away October 16, 2018.  She was born in Nansemond County, VA the daughter of the late Isaac Benjamin Speight and Irene Mayo Polson Speight.  She was predeceased by her sisters, Margaret "Molly" Woyer and Mary Jane Jones; and brother, Robert Speight.  Linda owned and operated Linda's Ceramics for 33 years.  She was a member of Bethlehem Christian Church.  She was also a member of The Red Hat Society.

Linda is survived by her husband, Donald Paul Alexander; son, Bryan Keith Holland and wife, Ellie; granddaughter, Bryce Holland; grandson, Grayson Holland; sister, Dorothy Patermaster; numerous nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Friday, October 19, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Bethlehem Christian Church with Rev. Matt Winters officiating.  Burial will follow at Holly Lawn Cemetery.  Friends may join the family for time of visitation Thursday night from 7- 8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory.  Memorial donations may be made to Bethlehem Christian Church.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
