Lewis Cabell Megginson, Jr., 76, of Suffolk, VA passed away December 20, 2007. He was a native of Danville, VA born the son of the late Lillie S. and Lewis C. Megginson, Sr. He was a U. S. Air Force veteran having served during the Korean War and retired as a railroad clerk for CSX. He was Past Master of the Seaboard Masonic Lodge in Portsmouth.

Lewis is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carolyn Scearce Megginson; daughter, Cheryl T. Brock both of Suffolk, VA; son and daughter-in-law, Lewis K. and Lynn B. Megginson of Langhorne, PA; grandchildren, Michelle R. Brock and Clayton R. Brock; great grandchild, Camden G. Brock; sister and brother-in-law, Gladys and Frank Davis and Carol Imus both of Portsmouth, VA; extended family, Louise Beaudin and Jeffrey Call of Suffolk, VA.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, December 23, 2007 at 3 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA 23434 with Rev. Byron McCreary officiating. Friends may join the family other times at the residence. Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
