Lewis Leonard Hedgepeth, Jr., 57, passed away January 14, 2019.  He was born in Southampton County, VA the son of Lewis Leonard Hedgepeth and the late Elnora Smith Hedgepeth.  He worked as a machinist at Newport News Shipyard.

In addition to his father he is survived by his wife of 20 years, Brenda A. Hedgepeth; daughters, Cassie Hedgepeth, Cheryl Bryant, Crystal Liverman (Josh); grandchildren, Daisy Liverman, Seth Liverman, Blake Harris, Donovan Starling, III, and 2 more on the way; brothers, Mark Hedgepeth and Bradford Hedgepeth (Melissa); and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Woodland United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev.
