Leonard Austin Williams, 81, of Suffolk, VA passed away April 13, 2008. He was born in Franklin, TN the son of the late Jim and Parrie P. Williams. He was also predeceased by his wife, Frances Williams. He retired as a Sergeant after 24 years in the U. S. Army and 4 years in the U.S. Navy. He served during WWII, the Korean War, and Vietnam. Leonard was a member of the Suffolk Moose Lodge.

Leonard is survived by his special friend, Venie Brown of Suffolk, VA; step-son, Joey Bradshaw of TN; sister, Frances Johnson of TN; brothers, Paul Williams of TN and James Williams of NC.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 17, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 6309 Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk, VA with Military Honors and Moose Rites.
