Leonard Ray "Len" Stone, III, a beloved brother and friend, passed away on February 28, 2026, in Suffolk, Virginia, at the age of 54. Born on September 19, 1971, in Richmond, Virginia, Len spent his life pursuing passions that brought joy to himself and those around him.

In his youth, Len was an active member of the Boy Scouts Club, where he developed a lifelong appreciation for community and the outdoors. He graduated from Nansemond-Suffolk Academy in 1990 and went on to receive his Associate's degree from Paul D. Camp Community College in 1993.

Len was known for his enthusiasm for trains, particularly HO scale models, which he lovingly collected and displayed. His fascination with craftsmanship extended to building sailboats from lumber, a hobby that showcased his meticulous attention to detail and creativity. Len also enjoyed collecting model John Deere tractors and replica shipping containers, further reflecting his appreciation for engineering and design.

Preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Ray Stone, Jr. and Victoria May Cockburn Stone, Len is survived by his cherished sister, Virginia May Stone, who will forever hold his memory close.
