Leona White Sower, 61, passed away December 17, 2014. She was born in Newport News, VA the daughter of the late Sylvia T. and George T. White, Sr. She was predeceased by her daughter, Angela Kent. She worked as a manager for GNC.

Leona is survived by her husband of 31 years, Stephen Matthew Sower; step sons, Stephen Todd Sower and Clinton Scott Sower; 5 grandchildren; brothers, George T. White, Jr. and wife, Nancy, Dennis Howard White.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, December 21, 2014 at 2 p.m. at St. Luke Memorial Park with Pastor Donald Watkins officiating. Friends may join the family for a time of visitation Saturday from 7-8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at the residence.
