Leon McFall, 58, of Suffolk, Virginia, died Monday afternoon. He was the owner of CSI, LLC, and surveyor. He attended Greenbrier East High School, WVU at Morgantown, taught at Bluefield State, and was a meteorologist in the Army. Leon was an outdoorsman and devoted family man. He is survived by his wife Tina McFall and step son Emmett Jessee; brother Lowell M. McFall and wife Gale, sister Deanna J. Morrison and husband Bill, of Lewisburg, WV. Leon is preceded in death by his son Christopher Leon McFall and parents Madeline and Rupert McFall, also of Lewisburg. He is a beloved uncle and step grandfather. He will be sadly missed by family and many friends, especially his devoted dog Lizzie.
A funeral service will be held Friday, December 11, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA with Dr. Donald Ray Jones officiating. Burial will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in Riverview Cemetery in Ronceverte, WV with Rev. Danny Morgan officiating.
