Lawrence Frederick Tooley, Sr., 88, went home to be with the Lord August 30, 2016 surrounded by his family. He was the son of the late Hallie and Margaret Tooley. He is also predeceased by his 2 sons, L.F. "Larry" Tooley, Jr. and Delbert Tooley; grandson, Sgt. Michael A. Tooley; 3 brothers; and sister. Lawrence was a dairy farmer and later was a truck driver. He was a member of Great Fork Baptist Church where he served as Deacon Emeritus.

Lawrence is survived by his wife of 69 years, Christine H. Tooley; daughters and son-in-law, Lynda T. Busching (Lloyd) and Brenda Kay Tooley; sons and daughter-in-law, James A. Tooley (Lea Anne) and David W. Tooley; daughter-in-law, Yvonne Tooley; 15 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; sister, Carol T. Hall; and brothers and sisters-in-law, H.D. Tooley, Jr. (Jean) and David A. Tooley (Sylvia).

A funeral service will be held Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow at Great Fork Baptist Church Cemetery.
