Lawrence Andrew Jarrins, 72, of Windsor, VA passed away on January 26, 2013. A native of Toledo, Ohio, he was the son of the late Andrew Paul Jarrins and Letitia Schaffer Jarrins. Larry retired with the rank of CWO 4 from the U.S. Navy after 26 years of service and was a Vietnam veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Christine C. Jarrins; children and spouses, Linda J. Dickey (Joe), Laura J. McCoy (Ben), Laurence E. Jarrins (Amy), Kelly D. DeWitt (James), and Major Evan A. Day (Jennifer); grandchildren, Jessica, Nicholas, Alex, Ryan, Michael, Elizabeth, Larry, Andrew, Christopher, Skye, Brynn, and Katarina; sister, Jill Wolfe(John); and brother, Jeff Jarrins (Julie).
A celebration of Larry's life with military honors will be held at 24109 Regenia Court, Windsor, VA at 12:30p.m. Friday, February 1, 2013. Burial will be private. Memorial donations may be made to the WoundedWarriorProject.org or the Windsor Volunteer Rescue Squad. Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com
