Lawrence "Larry" Edward Culbertson Sr, 79, passed away March 29, 2019.  He was born in Los Angeles, CA, the son of the late Eugene L. Culbertson Sr. and Mary Hutto Culbertson.  He was predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Barbara "Bobbie" Ann Culbertson; grandson, Matthew B. Cralle; and five brothers. Larry retired as a fabrication supervisor from Premier Copper & Brass in Portsmouth, VA.

Larry is survived by his daughter, Sonya Culbertson Gardner; son and daughter in law, Lawrence "Larry" Edward Culbertson Jr. and wife, Karen; grandchildren, Jennifer Cralle Scribner, Katlyn Culbertson Tillett and husband, Chris and Joseph Culbertson and wife, Rachael; great grandchildren, Conner, Rylan, Chloe, Noah and Gabriel; and loving dog, LuLu.

Larry's memorial service with military honors will be 9:00 am, Friday, April 5, 2019 in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Reynolds officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
