Larry Dean Kitchen, 70, passed away October 1, 2022.  He was born in Franklin, VA the son of the late Willy Lee Kitchen and Shirley Raiford Joyner Kitchen.  He was predeceased by his sister, Billie F. Ferguson.  Larry worked as a truck driver for Valley Protein.

Larry is survived by his wife of 23 years, Joyce Marie Saunders Kitchen; step sons, Kenneth Jernigan, Jason Gay (Aaisha); 1 daughter; 2 sons; 13 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brothers, Keith Kitchen (Becky), Ronnie Kitchen (Shirley); Heath Bunyon Kitchen; brother-in-law, Frank Ferguson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may join the family for a time of visitation Wednesday, October 5, 2022 from 7-8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.  Burial will be private at Tucker Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
