Lana "Sue" Stewart Dail, 75, passed away October 27, 2021.  She was born in Morehead, KY the daughter of the late William Stewart and Opal Irene Epperhart Stewart.  She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, R. Linwood Dail, Sr.; son, Russell L. Dail, Jr.; brother and sister-in-law, John and Neoma Stewart.  Sue retired after 40 + years as a peanut inspector for the Virginia Department of Agriculture.  She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

Sue is survived by her daughter-in-law, Michelle Rene Wenzler Dail, grandchildren, Nicole Rene Dail Lathrop (Jonathan), Brianna Michelle Dail (Dennis Carr); great grandsons, Mark and Mason Lathrop, and Xavier Carr.

A graveside service will be held Monday, November 1, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Holly Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Ricky Garza officiating.  Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
