Obituary

Kim Saunders Parham, 74, of Windsor, Virginia, passed away on February 12, 2026. He was born in Nansemond County, Virginia, the son of the late John Thomas Parham and Katherine Saunders Parham.

Kim was the owner of Windsor Amoco, a family business dating to the 1940s, originally an Esso station, that served as a gathering place and community hub connecting generations of Windsor residents over the decades. He had a lifelong love of cars, a passion that proved fateful — he and his wife Sharon first connected over their mutual ownership of Camaros. He was a life member of Windsor Volunteer Fire Department Station #40, where he served as an engineer, putting his mechanical skills to use maintaining the fire engines. He was also a former member of the Windsor Ruritan Club.

Kim is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Sharon Holland Parham; his sons, T. Clarke (Kimberly) Parham of Madison, Virginia, and J. Brent (Stephanie) Parham of Boston, Massachusetts; his grandchildren, Sadie Day Parham and Norah Lee Parham; and his affectionate dachshunds, Ginger and Gabby.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Windsor Cemetery, with Dick Holland officiating. Friends are invited to join the family for a time of visitation on Monday evening from 7:00–8:00 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Windsor Volunteer Fire Department. Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
