Kenneth Paul York, 80, of Suffolk, VA passed away on May 18, 2018. Born in Massillon, Ohio, he was the son of the late Robert York and Adeline Harrison York. He was predeceased by his wife of 48 years, Sylvia Ann York. He retired with over 26 years of service, as a civil service entomologist for the U.S. Army.  He was a United States Air Force Veteran.

Ken is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Estelita and Danny Buie of Suffolk, VA; sons and daughter-in-law, Steven and Barbara York of Portsmouth, VA and William T. York of Suffolk, VA; three grandchildren, Daniel, Ryan, and Ashley; great grandchild, Grayson; and two brothers, Mike and John York.

A Celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens with military honors.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com
