Passed on to Heaven scenes on September 23, 2016. Native of the Bronx in New York, he was the son of the late Ernest and Frances Girardin. He retired as a Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer (SKSCPO) with 27 years of faithful service and was a proud local business owner. He enjoyed his dogs and beautiful home landscaping. He was a devoted father and brother.

He is survived by his son, granddaughter, great grandson, 5 sisters and 5 brothers.

His service will be Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 1 pm in Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Robert Livesay officiating. Burial will follow at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery. His visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 pm. Donations may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
