Kenneth E. Blanton, 74, of Suffolk, VA passed away in his home with his family February 3, 2010. He was born in Heflin, Alabama the son of the late Grady Leroy Blanton and Laura Jane Johnson Blanton. He was a U. S. Navy veteran and retired from the Ford plant.

Kenneth is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Allen and Angie Blanton of Suffolk, VA, Wayne and Theresa Blanton of Bristow, VA; grandchildren, Garrett, Carson, Owen, and Shelby; sisters, Dot and Gail; brothers, Nathan and Brian.

A graveside service with military honors will be held Friday, February 5, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Veterans Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Allen Lancaster officiating.
