Katie Mann Phelps, 90, passed away April 29, 2022.  She was born in Creswell, NC the daughter of the late David Moses Mann and Mary Francis Mann.  She was also predeceased by her husband, William "Doug" Douglas Phelps; and siblings, Jennings Raye, Dorothy, and Mary.  She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

Katie is survived by her daughters,  Brenda P. Strickland (Algene), Diana Phelps, Macey P. Robertson (Dennis) and Sherry Phelps; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren; sisters, Shirley M. Walker and Starlyn M. Ambrose; brother, John Mann; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Friday, May 6, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens with Rev. Tim Rawls officiating.  Parr Funeral Home & Crematory is serving the family.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
