Kathleen Smith Gray, 79, of Suffolk, VA passed away January 4, 2007. A native of Newport News, she was the daughter of the late Paula and Alfred Smith. She formerly worked at the Village Drug Store in Chuckatuck and was a member of Faith Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her husband, James Clyde Gray.

Kathleen is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Mary Ann Folz and Julia Lynn and Chris Mongesku all of Portsmouth, VA; sons, James A. Gray of Portsmouth, VA, and Clyde R. "Ricky" Gray of Suffolk, VA; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Eva Smith of Chesapeake, VA; friend, Emily Durant and numerous other friends.

A graveside service will be held Monday, January 8, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Friends may also join the family other times at Kathleen's residence. Parr Funeral Home is serving the family. Condolences may also be registered at www.parrfuneralhome.com
