Julianne Brinkley Cooper, 85, of Little Falls, NJ passed away on August 4. 2014. She was born in Nansemond County, VA the daughter of the late Cyrus Brinkley, Sr. and Mary Emma Parker. Julianne is predeceased by three sisters and two brothers. Julianne was a member of Union Congregational Church in Upper Montclair, NJ. She was also a Past Worthy Matron of Eastern Star and a former member of Prime Time Singers.
Julianne is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Christopher A. and Marianne Cooper and Philip R. and Karey Cooper; and granddaughters, Catherine Cooper, Madison Cooper, Carolyn Cooper and Sydney Cooper.
A celebration of life service will be held Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, Virginia 23434 with Rev. Gary Vaughan officiating. Visitation will be from 12-2 prior to the service. Inurnment will follow at Holly Lawn Cemetery. Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
