Joyce Paige West Harrington, 82, passed away December 2, 2017. She was born in Suffolk, VA. to the late James Edward West, Sr. and Minnie Paige Holland West. Paige was predeceased by her husband, Wilton D. Harrington, Sr.; son, Steve D. Barnes; and brother, James E. West, Jr. Paige formerly worked as a lunch counter clerk at Peoples Drugstore. She was a member of Suffolk Church of God and East Pavilion Attitudes.

Paige is survived by her daughter, Donna H. Williams; sons, Terry R. Barnes, Richard "Ricky" Barnes; daughter-in-law, Barbara W. Barnes; grandchildren, Jason D. Barnes (Maria), Cory A. Barnes (Jessica), C. Dustin Williams (Fiancé-Brittany), Cheyanne N. Williams, Amy M. Prillaman (Scott) and Ryan A. Barnes; great grandchildren, Logan D. Barnes, Leland Z. Barnes, Ashton P. Prillaman, Brylee M. Prillaman, Jase C. Prillaman and Kaylynn A. Barnes; stepson and wife, Wilton D. Harrington, Jr. (Marcie), and special friend, Carolyn White, who was the sister she never had.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA 23434 with Rev. C. Brandon Sing and Rev. Troy A. Sing officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Lawn Cemetery.  A visitation will be held Tuesday, December 5, 2017 from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or Autism Speaks.
