Joyce Ann Jones, 60, passed away April 9, 2021.  She was born in Nansemond County, Virginia the daughter of Ethel Faye Duck Hebrock and the late Abraham Lincoln Jones.  She was also predeceased by her son, Justin E. Martin; and daughter, Amber N. Martin.  She formerly worked as a receptionist at Fairmont Snacks.

In addition to her mother, Joyce is survived by her son, Jonathan Lee Ellis (Taylor); grandchildren, Jayden Brown, Mariah Woods, Gage Ellis, Lucca Ley, Max Ellis, and Nora Ellis; sisters, Wanda Jernigan and Patty Main; nieces and nephews, D.J. Babb, P.J. Jones, G.C. Main, Charlotte Nuckles, and Brandy Main.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor David Sexton officiating.   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
