Joshua Christopher Reece, 18, of Suffolk, VA passed away November 10, 2007. He was a senior at Lakeland High School where he was a member of the Future Farmers of America. He was also a member of Holy Neck Christian Church.

Joshua is survived by his mother and father, Lisa C. and R. Owen Reece, Jr. of Suffolk, VA; maternal grandparents, J.C. and Mozelle Corsbie of Asheboro, NC; paternal grandmother, Thelma Y. Reece of Greensboro, NC; aunts and uncles, Laurie and James Baker of Greensboro, NC, Chris and Joanne Corsbie of Asheboro, NC; cousins, DeLorea Baker, Gabby Baker, Helen Smith, and Maggie Smith; best friend, Thomas Warren. Joshua was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Robert Owen Reece.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at 4 p.m. at Holy Neck Christian Church, 4400 Holy Neck Rd., Suffolk, VA 23437 with Rev. Dolan Talbert officiating. The family will also receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall. Joshua will be available for viewing on Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA 23434. Burial will be private in the church cemetery.
