Joseph Mills Fanney, Jr., 81, of Windsor, VA passed away February 27, 2010. He was born in Suffolk, VA the son of the late Carrie and Joseph Mills Fanney, Sr. He was predeceased by his wife Sarah Fanney. He retired as an officer from the Department of Corrections.

Joseph is survived by his sons, Joseph Mills Stone and wife, Sharon, Roger Bruce Fanney and wife, Kim all of Suffolk, VA; step daughter, Liz Fuller and husband, Steve of Windsor, VA; grandchildren, Jon Neil Stone, Anne and Ashley Fuller; sister, Patsy Price and husband, Charles of Suffolk, VA.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Windsor Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Reynolds officiating.
