Joseph Ray Bell, 83, passed away March 9, 2015. He was born in Lumberton, NC the son of the late Jasper R. and Edna L. Bell. He was predeceased by his brothers, Melvin and Jasper Bell. He retired from the maintenance department at Ford Motor Company.

Joseph is survived by his wife Annie Ruth Bell; daughters and son-in-laws, Shirley Ann Self and Garland, Jo Anne Bowen and Archie; sons and daughters-in-law, Jasper Ray Bell, Sr. and Theresa Rock, Earlice Ray Bell and Linda, and Donald Ray Bell; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sisters, Elise B. Hunt and Vera B. Chavis; brothers, Bobby, Charles, Winfred, Wendell, Travis, and Reginald Bell.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 18, 2015 a 3:00 pm at Liberty Holiness Church in Lumberton, NC with Rev. Tim Bell officiating. Burial will follow at Lumbee Memorial Gardens.
