Johnnie Ray Brown, 48, passed away peacefully at his home in Windsor, VA.  He was born on August 14, 1975, in Portsmouth, VA.  He will be lovingly remembered by his father CJ Brown and sisters Jessica Vick (Steve), and Jenny Huff (Chad).  He is preceded in death by his stepmother, Jane C. Brown.

Johnnie attended Currituck County High School.  He worked as a Building Division Supervisor for STR Mechanical.  Johnnie had a natural talent and was an expert tradesman who took pride in his quality workmanship. He enjoyed fishing, grilling, and spending time with his dad and friends playing poker. We will all miss his laugh.

A graveside funeral service will be held Monday, May 13, 2024, at 2 pm at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens at 3920 Airline Blvd. Chesapeake, VA 23321 with Rev. Tim Rawls officiating.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
